The new DAOES Director should work with the Board and others to create a vision that builds on the program strengths already in place and enhances the region’s reputation as a state and national model. Honest, effective communication and ethical behavior will serve as the foundation for effective leadership, building productive coalitions and fostering a positive attitude toward growth which in turn will create effective learning opportunities for students throughout the region.
