Elwood School District 203 is seeking a visionary and student-centered educational leader to serve as its next Superintendent of Schools. Located in a close-knit, supportive community, the district serves approximately 380 students in a single PreK–8 building and takes pride in its strong academic foundation, dedicated staff, and commitment to educating the whole child.
The successful candidate will be a collaborative communicator, experienced instructional leader, and a fiscally responsible administrator who will partner with the Board of Education, staff, families, and the community to continue the district’s tradition of excellence while preparing for future growth and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Superintendent license
- Proven record of successful school/district leadership
- Strong background in curriculum, finance, and community engagement
- Ability to inspire trust, build relationships, and lead with integrity
